D3 and K2: Two Ingredients, One Combination Label
D3 and K2 are different vitamin ingredients. Seeing them together on the front of a packet does not reveal their forms, amounts or the rest of the formulation. This article explains the names and the structure of a combination label. It does not recommend a dose, treatment, timing routine or product.

What the D3 name means
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements identifies D2 as ergocalciferol and D3 as cholecalciferol. These are forms of vitamin D. A product labelled D3 therefore supplies a form name, but the front label still may not show the declared amount, excipients or complete formulation. Read those fields separately rather than treating D3 as a full product specification.
What the K2 name means
NIH describes vitamin K as a family that includes K1 and menaquinones, commonly called K2. K2 includes named forms such as MK-4 and MK-7. Those form names are not the same as an amount. If a combination product says only K2, the exact form may still need clarification from its full ingredient declaration.
Why a combination name is incomplete
A D3 + K2 title identifies two ingredient families, not a universal recipe. Two combination labels can differ in the form of K2, the declared quantities, the capsule or liquid format and other ingredients. Record each field before treating the descriptions as comparable. A larger pack count does not resolve any of those differences.
Keep ingredient information separate from a benefit promise
An educational description of vitamins is not evidence that a particular unconfirmed product delivers an advertised outcome. A formulation-specific claim needs applicable evidence and review. This page does not answer whether an individual needs either ingredient or the combination, and it does not establish a preferred ratio or timing schedule.
Personal questions need a different process
NIH’s fact sheets include safety and medication-interaction information. Those topics cannot be resolved from a front-of-pack combination name. Personal suitability should be discussed with a qualified professional using the actual label and relevant circumstances privately. No medication changes, dosing advice or personal health assessment are provided here.
Arcvita’s current product status
D3 + K2 is a priority family in the planned Arcvita range. No exact formulation, manufacturer, label, stock or price has been established. Illustrative branding is not product evidence. The future product page should identify those facts and show its real label before it presents a purchase route.
